DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM
The nut fastening the cone bearing of the type 23130E of the bottom press roll unwent during the utilization of the machine for the production of the toilet paper. The loose bearing damaged the surface of the tope, where it was placed, cutting out scratches of the depth of 3-5mm, and the width of 90mm, which resulted in a seizing of the roll. It forced the operators urgently stop the machine.

DESCRIPTION OF THE REPAIR
Due to the existing situation, the mechanician on duty started to repair it immediately. He cleaned the top of the roll with abrasive paper of the granularity of 40 and defattened it with Chester Cleaner. Then he applied a layer of Chester Metal Rapid and put the new bearing protected with the separating means Chester Release Agent.

ACHIEVED EFFECTS
The machine was switched on within two hours after the moment of stopping it. The repair conducted in such a way allowed us avoid production losses, because the time of the stopover of the machine was shortened to the minimum. The traditional method of the repair, entailing a replacement of the roll would require a disassembly of part of the machine and an engagement of a bigger number of employees and the equipment. The state of the regenerated top was checked after 6 months during the planned renovation and it did not cause any reservations.
